Started the day in a cold 48 degree rain. The "forecast" was for rain all day but it mostly stopped after we broke camp. We then spent the day dodging rain storms that would pop up over mountain ridges.
One time we were riding in brilliant sunshine and getting rained on from rain clouds that were out of sight because we were riding in a deep gulch and the wind must have blown the rain over "just for us".
Climbed 3327 ft today ..
FINALLY found our way out of (rainy) Oregon and into Idaho after 704 miles. We crossed over at the Brownlee Dam on the Snake River. Very beautiful ride along the river as it "snaked" along.
