5/27/13 Mon day 13 Austin Junction to 12 mi E of Baker City OR 63 mi

Temperatures were 49 - 54 degrees and it rained 80 percent of the time. This was another day of "put it in low and go".  We climbed over two passes today (Tipton  at 5124 ft and Sumpter at 5082 ft).

There were frequent changes of rain gear and wind breakers with the changing conditions.   It was like I was doing the Goldilox thing, trying not to burn up on the ascents or freeze on the descents.

Yesterday I had stomach issues and was unable to eat hardly anything.  What a relief it was to awaken today without pain and be able to go to the rare DQ in a little town and indulge in a calorie laden heart-not-so-healthy double cheeseburger combo and regular Pepsi to try to reignite my little engine.
